Artist Bio: Alison graduated in 2004 from Central Saint Martins with a degree in Fine Art. Shortly after it was a portrait of a friend's dog, she did that launched her creative career, although her work has evolved a lot since then. For the last 10 years she has been designing textile prints and graphics full time for the fashion industry. Pattern making is her real passion and the more intricate the better. Her colleagues have even dubbed her the paisley queen. In Alison's spare time she is a freelance illustrator. Her work is defined by colour, pattern, humour and natural forms. She has undertaken a vast range of projects, ranging from animal portraits to t-shirt graphics and likes a creative challenge so will take on anything that comes her way. Inspiration & Process: It wouldn't be a jubilee without bunting! The Queen's jubilee celebrations are synonymous with bunting, so Alison thought it would be fitting to decorate this corgi with a string of bunting flapping in the sky. There are seventy flags in total, one for each year of the Queen's reign. Each flag is decorated with illustrations pertaining to the Queen on one continuous string of bunting. All the proceeds from this Corgi will be donated to: Only A Pavement Away https://onlyapavementaway.co.uk/

Linnet
Linnet Corgi sponsored by The Northbank BID with proceeds going to The Connections. Artist: Jeremy Clarke Dimensions: Corgi Standing, 1300mm (H) from foot to ear x 1500mm (W) Base Plate, 2100mm (L) X 1000mm (W) Corgi Material: CNC poly block with a resin coated finish & primed undercoat, no more than 20kg Corgi Base Material: Weighted timber base with a black painted finish, approx. 60-80kg The guide price is based on the production costs of each corgi. In the past he has supported several artists with the technical execution of sculpture trail pieces, this is his first individual piece. Inspiration & Process: We are living through dark times: the last couple of years have seen so much pain and suffering for so many, Europe now sees war on its doorstep and at home the economy is in crisis. On the darkest of days however, a ray of sunshine can transform the outlook with the most brilliant of rainbows. Jeremy recently followed storm clouds over many miles and against their dark foreboding was the most brilliant of rainbows stretching clear across the horizon, which was so uplifting. Through the pandemic the rainbow became a symbol of hope and thanks for the NHS. Jeremy's rainbows are painted for all people, all races and creeds who support others in getting through difficult times. He hopes they raise a smile and lighten the mood: it's a small thanks for their dedication and caring.
