Title: Cook. Eat, Repeat
Genre: Food & Drink
Format: Hardback
Signed - Dedication is Available
Bids Accepted: Global
The Book;
COOK EAT REPEAT is a delicious and delightful combination of recipes intertwined with narrative essays about food, all written in Nigella’s engaging and insightful prose. Whether talking about the evolution and meaning of the recipe in 'What is a Recipe?' – 'a recipe, much like a novel, is a living collaboration between writer and reader. And in both cases, it is the reader who keeps it alive' – or exploring the heinous notion of the guilty pleasure in 'Death to the Guilty Pleasure', Nigella is by turns characteristically informative, intelligent, thought-provoking and amusing.
'The recipes I write come from my life, my home', says Nigella, and in this book Nigella shares the rhythms and rituals of her kitchen through over fifty new recipes that make the most of her favourite ingredients. Dedicated chapters include 'A is for Anchovy' (a celebration of the bacon of the sea), 'Beetroot and Me', 'A Vegan Feast', a shout out for 'Brown Food', a very relatable 'How To Invite People for Dinner Without Hating Them (or Yourself)', plus new ideas for Christmas. Within these chapters are recipes for all seasons and tastes: Burnt Onion and Aubergine Dip; Butternut with Chilli, Ginger and Beetroot Yoghurt Sauce; Brown Butter Colcannon; Spaghetti with Chard and Anchovies; Beef Cheeks with Port and Chestnuts; Oxtail Bourguignon; and Wide Noodles with Lamb in Aromatic Broth, to name a few. Those with a sweet tooth will delight in Rhubarb and Custard Trifle; Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake; Rice Pudding Cake; and Cherry and Almond Crumble.
The Author:
Nigella Lawson is an English broadcaster, journalist television personality and food writer. She began work as a book reviewer and restaurant critic, and then embarked upon a career as a freelance journalist, writing for a number of newspapers and magazines. Her first cook book ‘How to Eat’ sold 300,000 copies and became a best-seller while her second book, ‘How to be a Domestic Goddess’, won her the British Book Award for Author of the Year. She hosted her own cooking show series, Nigella Bites, on Channel 4, accompanied by another best-selling cook book ‘Nigella Bites’. She hosted the Food Network's ‘Nigella Feasts’ in the United States, followed by a three-part BBC Two series, Nigella's Christmas Kitchen, in the UK, which led to the commissioning of Nigella Express on BBC Two.
Her book Cook, Eat, Repeat, was made into a massively popular 7 part T.V. Series for B.B.C Television, and can still be binged watched on B.B.C. I-Player.
Her dishes are known for their simplicity and do not require an elaborate preparation. Her warm and honest demeanour as well as her stunning beauty enables her to engage both male and female viewers. Described as the sexiest television chef ever to grace an apron, she continues to inspire men and women to cook.

Book Title: Warrior Princess, Errant Page
Book Genre: YA Historical Fiction
Format: Paperback
Dedication Available: Yes
Free Postage: Global
The Book:
Warrior Princess, Errant Page is a fantastic YA historical novel and is
set in the days when Good King Wenceslas ruled Bohemia. The story of Emma, the warrior princess, and Podevin, the errant page, is told against a background of tenth-century court intrigue, personality clashes, and warfare.
Can a 22-year-old page and bodyguard avenge the death of his assassinated king, while being hunted as an outlaw?
Can an Anglo-Saxon princess, stuck hundreds of miles from home in a foreign court, follow her heart when her husband does not want her?
Will Emma and Podevin be able to find a secure future in such a deadly, dangerous world?
The Author:
Nigel was originally a Shropshire lad, being born and raised in Shrewsbury. Having gained a BSc from Loughborough University and a PGCE from Bath, his teaching career took him from the south-west of England to Teesside via Botswana, Africa. Following his PhD in Durham, he published his non-fiction book ‘Engaging Politics?’ in 2007 (as Nigel W. Oakley) and served as World Development Officer for the Diocese of Durham for five years.
Since moving back to the Midlands, he has concentrated on writing fiction. ‘Warrior Princess, Errant Page’, the first novel in the Premyslid Chronicles, will be published with Resolute Books in the Spring of 2025. Warrior Princess, Errant Page is about Good King Wenceslas’s page and sprung from a conversation with his son after the school Christmas Concert; having sung about God King Wenceslas, he wanted to know “who the page was” in that carol. Nigel’s research led him to a name: Podevin, and a story about an assassination, a connection with the warrior grand-daughter of King Alfred the Great, and a life in exile …
To ensure he keeps his creative muscles in trim, Nigel also produces a short story every month and regularly puts them on his website, where readers can also hear him read those stories.

* Anne is offering a named character in the final Hannah Weybridge story for her successful bidder*
Title: Murder in the Lady Chapel
Genre: Crime Thriller - Mystery
Format: Paperback
Signed - Dedication is Available
Bids Accepted: UK Only
The Book;
“All that is now hidden will some day come to light. If you have ears, listen! And be sure to put into practice what you hear.” Mark 4, verse 22
A chorister is found dying in the Lady Chapel when the Reverend Peter Savage is about to begin morning prayers. It’s a suspicious death and no one seems to know much about the victim. The vicar implores Hannah Weybridge to find out what she can.
Little did the journalist know that this investigation would have her joining the choir in preparation for the Christmas services or that her daughter, Elizabeth, would be so enchanted by the church.
Hannah soon discovers that the deceased, Daniel Lyons, seems to be a man without a history and that’s suspicious in itself. Apparently, an insurance fraud investigator, he leaves no records: even his landlady knows little about him.
But, as Hannah discovers, someone does know him – and he was definitely not who he seemed to be…
And while she investigates, someone is trying to intimidate Hannah in a series of seemingly unconnected ways. The past as well as the present haunts her. Will she be able to solve the mystery before Christmas is ruined?
The Author:
As I am writing the seventh and final book I realise how fortunate I am to be doing something I love. Authors often go through periods when they feel like giving up but the thought of not writing spurs them on. Writing and creating Hannah Weybridge's world in 1990s London has been a fabulous experience for me especially when characters, who have become my imaginary friends, take me on so many unexpected journeys. And then there are those precious moments when a reader tells you how much they enjoyed your last book or a friend says how much they are looking forward to your next book and any doubts evaporate – for the time being!
Writing short stories was my way into fiction and I had those published in major women's magazines as I continued as a freelance journalist, working on national newspapers, magazines and in-house publications, as as an editor for Reader's Digest abridging fiction and narrative non-fiction. My journalism and editing have both inspired ideas for for my crime thrillers as well as my seven non-fiction books with various publishers.
I live in SE London where I sing in a church choir and am a trustee for the Dulwich Festival. I enjoy theatre and cinema and socialising with family and friends

*Cockleberry Bay series (4 books)*
Title 1: The Corner Shop In Cockleberry Bay
Title 1: Christmas in Cockleberry Bay
Title 3: The Gift of Cockleberry Bay
Title 4: Meet Me in Cockleberry Bay
Genre: Romantic Comedys
Format: Paperbacks
Signed - Dedications are Available
Bids Accepted: UK Only
Book 1: The Corner Shop In Cockleberry Bay
Rosa Larkin is down on her luck in London, so when she inherits a near-derelict corner shop in a quaint Devon village, her first thought is to sell it for cash and sort out her life. But nothing is straightforward about this legacy. While the identity of her benefactor remains a mystery, he – or she – has left one important legal proviso: that the shop cannot be sold, only passed on to somebody who really deserves it.
Rosa makes up her mind to give it a go: to put everything she has into getting the shop up and running again in the small seaside community of Cockleberry Bay. But can she do it all on her own? And if not, who will help her succeed – and who among the following will work secretly to see her fail?
With surprising and heartfelt results, Rosa, accompanied at all times by her little sausage dog Hot, will slowly unravel the shadowy secrets of the inheritance, and also bring her own, long-hidden heritage into the light.
The Book 2;Christmas in Cockleberry Bay
Meet old and new characters in the Bay for Christmas fun and frolics.
With both the Corner Shop and Cockleberry Cafe in safe hands, Rosa turns her attention to Ned's Gift, the charity set up in memory of the great-grandfather who turned her life around. Over at the Ship Hotel, Lucas has his work cut out with his devious new girlfriend and the mystery poisoning of an anonymous hotel inspector.
Will the hotel still get its 3-star Seaside Rosette? Will Mary find true love at last? Can Titch cope with the demands of the shop and being heavily pregnant. And can Rosa, with a baby of her own, pull off the Cockleberry Bay Charity Christmas Concert in time?
Christmas in Cockleberry Bay is a festive delight for fans of Rosa and her cheeky mini dachshund Hot, delivering a feast of unpredictable events and surprises.
Book 3: The Gift of Cockleberry Bay
All of our favourite characters from Cockleberry Bay are back in this final, heart warming story in the series. Including Hot, Rosa Smith's adorable dachshund and his new-born puppies.
Now successfully running the Cockleberry Café and wishing to start a family herself, Rosa feels the time is right to let her inherited Corner Shop go. However, her benefactor left one important legal proviso: that the shop cannot be sold, only passed on to somebody who really deserves it.
Rosa is torn. How can she make such a huge decision? And will it be the right one? Once the news gets out and goes public, untrustworthy newcomers appear in the Bay . . . their motives uncertain. With the revelation of more secrets from Rosa's family heritage, a new journey of unpredictable and life-changing events begins to unfold.
The Gift of Cockleberry Bay concludes this phenomenally successful series in typically brisk and bolshy style and will delight the many thousands of Rosa's fans.
Book 4: Meet Me in Cockleberry Bay
The cast of the runaway bestseller, The Corner Shop in Cockleberry Bay, are back – including Rosa, Josh, Mary, Jacob, Sheila, new mum Titch and, last but by no means least, Hot, the adorable dachshund.
Newly wed, and with her inherited corner shop successfully up and running, Rosa Smith seems to have all that anyone could wish for. But the course of true love never did run smooth and Rosa’s suspicions that her husband is having an affair have dire consequences.
Reaching rock bottom before she can climb back up to the top, fragile Rosa is forced to face her fears, addiction and jealousy head on.
With a selection of meddling locals still at large, a mystery fire and Titch’s frantic search for the real father of her sick baby, the second book in this enchanting series will take you on a further unpredictable journey of self-discovery.

Title - A Christmas Romance in the Scottish Highlands
Genre - Romance
Format: Paperback
Signed: Dedication is Available
Bids Accepted: UK only
The Book;
Escape to Holly Berry Lodge in the Scottish Highlands, curl up next to a cosy fireplace with a warm mug of hot chocolate, and join Mairi Fraser as she’s forced to spend the festive season with the one that got away…
Thirty-three-year-old Mairi is spending Christmas at her Aunt Effie’s ski lodge. It’s her favourite place, where she spent every childhood holiday, and the comforting view of the mountain tops is just what she needs after a rollercoaster year. But Mairi finds herself unexpectedly snowed in, along with her handsome ex Jed Murray…
As the snowflakes fall heavily outside, she closes her eyes to block out the sight of Jed’s dark hair and broad shoulders, his muscles flexing as he stacks the logs he’s gathered to build them a fire. But even though they’re united in their goal of getting Effie’s lodge ready for Christmas, Mairi is determined not to fall for Jed again.
Except moving on from him is easier said than done when they’re in such close quarters. Their time together draping tinsel around the Christmas tree and baking gingerbread cookies in the kitchen makes the memories of how good they were together all come rushing back. But will Jed reveal the real reason he left and earn Mairi’s trust once more?
Will the avalanche of complicated feelings they have for each other keep them apart? Or when the snow starts to melt, can the magic of Christmas bring them back together?
The Author:
I wanted to be an author from the age of twelve when reading and writing were my first loves. In 2018 my first book, Summer at the Castle Cafe was published and my dream came true.
I've had fifteen books published. Seven of those have been in the Amazon top 100 (a cause for immense celebrations in my house), one made it to number seven in the UK and US Kindle charts and Summer in the Scottish Highlands made it to number 1 in the UK, US and AU free ebook charts. My books have been published in six territories from the Czech Republic to Slovakia and the Netherlands. I was also shortlisted for the RNA Debut Romantic Novel of the Year in 2019.
I live in Hertfordshire, with my own romantic hero, two grown up kids (who pop in and out) and two very grumpy cats. I love a happy ending and I'm never happier than when I'm escaping into a romance novel or movie. Oh, and I have a love hate relationship with running. Mostly hate.

Title: Mistletoe and Mulled Wine at the Christmas Campervan
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Format: Paperback
Signed - Dedication is Available
Bids Accepted: UK Only
The Book;
The Christmas Cocktail Campervan – bringing love, laughter and friendship from coast to coast . . .
The gorgeously romantic new novel in the ‘Cosy Campervan series’ – next stop: Christmas markets, mince pies and kisses under the mistletoe!
Christmas feels like a real gift for Lucy this year. Her cosy coastal cottage is starting to feel like home, her new pizza business is getting the locals ‘All Fired Up’, and she can’t wait to spend it with her new flame Jack, the charismatic owner of the Cocktail Campervan.
Winding along the snow-dusted Northumberland coast for a whirlwind of Christmas markets and celebrations, Lucy and Jack can’t resist stealing a few kisses under the mistletoe. But there’s a twist in their romantic tale when Lucy’s ex turns up in the village. As her past closes in, Jack becomes increasingly distant. And Lucy worries he’s holding back a few secrets of his own . . .
Will Christmas bring a cold spell for Lucy and Jack? Or could it really be the most wonderful time of the year?
The Author:
Family, friends, food, a glass of bubbly and, of course, a good book make me smile. I love writing emotional stories about love, loss, betrayal, and family, that explore how complex and yet beautiful love can be. I also like to write romantic comedy, letting the characters have a bit of flirty fun too! I believe in following your dreams and working hard towards them, which led me to Harper Impulse (Harper Collins) and a publishing deal (woop!) after many years of writing. Stunning Northumberland is my home – sandy beaches, castles and gorgeous countryside that have inspired my writing.

Title: Hoglets' Birthday Surprise
Genre: Children
Format: Paperback
Signed - Dedication is Available
Bids Accepted: UK Only
The Book;
It's the Summer holidays!
Hoglets, Prickles and Primrose are busy exploring when they stumble across... a witch!
Terrified she'll eat them for breakfast, the hoglets prepare to escape but soon realise the witch isn't scary at all.
Willow the witch is lonely and in need of a friend.
Can the hoglets hep her?
If you love Winnie the Pooh, you'll love the hoglets, Prickles and Primrose of Briar Wood.
The Author:
Lynette was born in London, but raised in Burnley, Lancashire. From the tender age of five she lived with her grandmother who gave her books to keep her quiet. Lynette found she had a passion for reading and started writing once she began school.
Lynette’s inspiration came from childhood books written by Enid Blyton. The Enchanted Wood and The Faraway Tree were her first taste of fantasy. In adulthood, Stephanie Meyer’s Twilight Series captured her own vivid imagination.
Her first novel Sinners of Magic won her acclaim and the story soon turned into a trilogy. With readers begging for more Lynette ended the series with a spin off story featuring a windigo.
Wishing to be a multi-genre author, Lynette turned her pen to romance. Her two novels: Cracks in the Glass and Two Kinds of Truth were a huge hit with readers.
Returning to her love of short story writing, Lynette entered the 2019 SWWJ (Society of Women Writers and Journalists) competition. A Slice of Cake – a light-hearted story about her five year old granddaughter came runner up.
In 2020 Lynette launched a compilation of short stories. Most having won popular writing competitions.
Later this year, Lynette is breaking out of her comfort zone with the release of her new children’s book. Hoglets’ Christmas Magic is a delightful tale starring two adorable hedgehogs. The book is due for publication 28th August by White Rabbit Books.
Lynette lives in North East Lincolnshire with her husband. All her grandchildren are the apple of her eye.

Title: The Leap Year Proposal
Genre: Romance
Format: Paperback
Signed - Dedication is Available
Bids Accepted: UK Only
The Book;
Three women. One crazy hen weekend. A life-changing decision.
When three women meet at a mutual friend’s hen weekend on the Scottish island of Arran, they get more than they bargained for when one of them has the genius idea of proposing on 29 February, like the age-old Irish tradition.
High-flying businesswoman Anouska and boyfriend Zach are deliriously happy and madly in love. If only they had more time together. But now she’s pregnant and doesn’t know how to tell him, since having kids hadn’t featured in their plans.
Dog walker Jess lives with her childhood sweetheart, but they’re already like an old married couple, without the romance, or the wedding, or the ring. When Mark doesn’t propose on New Year’s Eve, Jess is gutted and decides to take matters into her own hands.
Ellie and Scott still live apart after six years, and his lack of commitment is a sore point. She’s up for a huge promotion which involves moving country. It’s make-or-break time. She needs to know he’s worth turning down the job for.
The women meet weekly, helping each other with decisions big and small, becoming each other’s support system in the run-up to ‘the big ask’.
Will love conquer all or will their hopes and dreams come crashing down around them?
The Author:
Susan Buchanan lives in South Lanarkshire, Scotland with her husband and their two children. She writes contemporary women's fiction and romantic comedies, Her books are: Sign of the Times, The Dating Game, The Christmas Spirit, Return of the Christmas Spirit, Just One Day - Winter, Just One Day - Spring, Just One Day - Summer, Just One Day - Autumn, A Little Christmas Spirit, The Leap Year Proposal, and You Can't Hurry Love.

Enter Cameron, a struggling mature student with a mountain of debt but a zest for life.

They've never actually met.
When Olivia tries to show her friends the hunky new man in her life, Fraser's online dating profile has vanished, and
Olivia fears the worst. Frustrated and wounded, she decides she's going to confront Fraser – face to face, in Scotland.
But when she arrives, things don't go exactly as planned. Worse still, Fraser doesn't seem to have any idea who she is...

One ambitious businesswoman.
One irresponsible heir.
A deal that will turn both their lives upside down…
To grow her craft business, Nancy is in desperate need of two things: help and money. So when a potential investor she’s looking to impress recommends an assistant, she jumps at the chance to secure both.
Freddy Astley-Davenport is a notorious playboy with zero work experience. He’s poised to inherit his family’s estate in sunny Seashell Bay – but only if he can hold down a job for six months first. His plan is to take the assistant role in name only, then do the least work he possibly can.
Nancy has other ideas, though, and the pair butt heads from day one. However, as they argue, sparks begin to fly, and they soon discover exactly why opposites attract…
The Author:
Bella has been jotting down stories as far back as she can remember but decided that 2013 would be the year that she finished a full length novel. Since then she’s written nine best-selling romantic comedies, two best-selling bookclub reads and won the RNA Romantic Comedy Novel of the Year Award.
Bella's stories are about friendship, love and coping with what life throws at you. She lives in Warwickshire, UK with her husband, daughter and a cat who thinks she’s a dog. When not writing Bella is usually eating custard creams and planning holidays.

She prepares a dummy book of rough sketches before she begins the finished drawings. For these she draws first in pencil then, using coloured pencils, she builds up layers of colour, adding details towards the end. Each drawing takes many, many hours and a whole book can take a year.

The mature students of Royal Hastings University's new art course have been nothing but trouble. But finally they are given their last assignment: to build an art installation for a local manufacturer. With six students who have nothing in common except their clashing personal agendas, what could possibly go wrong?

The Author:

After attending two Art Schools, she travelled for six months, still unsure about which career to embark upon.
Before writing and illustrating children's books Lauren started her own company 'Chandeliers for the People' making lampshades. It was only when she came to write and illustrate the book Clarice Bean, That's Me that she decided to devote her time to writing and illustrating books for children, which combines her fascination for childhood and her talent for designing and creating. Her book I Will Not Ever Never Eat A Tomato won the 2000 Kate Greenaway Medal. For the 50th anniversary of the Medal (1955–2005), a panel named it one of the top ten winning works, which comprised the shortlist for a public vote for the nation's favourite. It finished third in the public vote from that shortlist.
Lauren lives in North London.

Book Title: The Weimar Years
Genre: History
Format: Paperback
Signed: Dedication is Available
Bids Accepted: UK only
The Book : The Weimar Years
A DAILY MAIL BOOK OF THE WEEK
A SPECTATOR BOOK OF THE YEAR
A DAILY TELEGRAPH BEST HISTORY BOOK OF 2023
ASPECTS OF HISTORY BOOKS OF THE YEAR
A GUARDIAN BOOK OF THE YEAR 2023
A DAILY MAIL BEST CHRISTMAS BOOK OF 2023
The prequel to Frank McDonough's bestselling Hitler Years series, covering the dramatic era of German history that culminated in the rise to power of Adolf Hitler in 1933.
Established in the wake of German defeat in the First World War, the Weimar Republic held out the hope that democracy, stability and prosperity would take root in Germany. From the start, however, it was beset by political and economic upheaval and spasms of violence between left and right. Year by year, from 1918 to 1933, Frank McDonough describes the major events in both domestic and foreign policy and the personalities who shaped them, together with developments in Weimar's flourishing cultural sphere. McDonough places particular focus on the parliamentary history of Weimar, arguing that it was the failure of parliamentary democracy to bring stability that allowed the power of the elected Reichstag to diminish, leading to Hitler's accession to power.
The Weimar Years is the tragic story of a rise and fall, as well as a warning of how, under poor leadership, economic pressure and unrelenting political instability, a democracy can drift towards a form of authoritarian rule that eventually destroys it.
The Author: Frank McDonough
Professor Frank McDonough is an internationally renowned expert on the Third Reich. He was born in Liverpool, studied history at Balliol College, Oxford and gained a PhD from Lancaster University.
He has written many critically acclaimed books on the Third Reich, including: The Gestapo: The Myth and Reality of Hitler’s Secret Police (2015). Hitler and the Rise of the Nazi Party (2012), Sophie Scholl: The Woman Who Defied Hitler (2009), The Holocaust (2008), Opposition and Resistance in Nazi Germany (2001), Hitler, Chamberlain and Appeasement (2002), and Hitler and Nazi Germany (1999). He has also published many other books, most notably, The Origins of the Second World War: An International Perspective (2011), The Conservative Party and Anglo-German Relations (2007), Chamberlain, Appeasement and the British Road to War (1998) and The Origins of the First and Second World Wars (1997).

Title: Will You Stay Another Day?
Genre: Contemporary fiction
Paperback
Dedication: Yes
Postage: UK only
The Book;
If you could spend just one more day with someone, who would it be?
When Lili sends a jokey ‘knock-knock’ message to her best friend Em, she doesn’t expect to hear back. Because – as Lili notices the chill in the air, and the little robin in her garden – she realises Christmas must be just around the corner once again. A whole year since she last saw Em.
But then this time someone replies. ‘Who’s there?’ It can’t possibly be Em, but Lili wants to believe it could be, and she hastily suggests meeting.
However when she gets to the meeting place, there only one other person there waiting. A man. And not just any man. The most handsome man Lili’s ever seen, Dylan… And he is also waiting for someone he’s been missing.
As the days get shorter and Autumn turns to Winter, will two lonely hearts spend another Christmas without their loved ones? Or can they welcome an unexpected friendship? Or maybe even more, if they can just help each other to focus on not what they’ve lost, but what they’ve found…

Title 1- WARNING: Magic Can Be Dangerous!
Tyler isn't thrilled to be spending yet another mundane afternoon at Great Uncle John's. And that's putting it mildly! But after his visit sparks a chain of inexplicable events, he delightedly discovers magic at his fingertips.
Being able to conjure up a swimming pool and a wodge of cash are certainly perks. Yet the magic proves tricky to control. What's more, it seems to be irreversible.
Unable to properly harness his new-found powers, Tyler ends up getting those around him into all manner of mischief and mayhem. And when things begin to go catastrophically wrong, he fears magic is a curse, rather than a blessing. Will normality ever be restored, or will Tyler be forced to adapt to his new, altered reality forever? It all depends on whether he's able to find Lottie's loophole...
Title 2: WARNING: May Contain Dragons!
Dragons are make-believe, right? Wrong! As Willow is about to find out...

Until a dragon kidnaps her little brother!
With her dad busy and her mum absent, she enlists the help of her friends to track down and avenge the monstrous beast. But they soon find themselves out of their depth. Will Willow ever see her brother again? Will she and her friends live to tell the tale? And how will the already struggling village of Harmony survive a dragon onslaught... if there really are dragons living there?
Author:
B. Ware is the pseudonym used by Jo Stacey when writing children’s books.
Born in August 1976, Jo was fortunate enough to spend the first eighteen years of her life just a stone’s throw from Dumpton Gap beach in the picturesque coastal town of Broadstairs. She always feels most at home when she’s close to the sea, and loves nothing more than lying on a beach somewhere, lost in a good book.
An avid reader from a young age, Jo’s childhood dream was to become an author. Her love of writing evolved whilst she was a pupil at Upton Junior School (Broadstairs). At night, she’d often read by torchlight under the bedclothes – or scribble story ideas into old exercise books – when she was supposed to be fast asleep! During secondary school break times and lunchtimes, she’d collaborate with friends to write murder mysteries before acting them out in the playground.
It wasn’t until she home-schooled her children during the COVID-19 lockdown that Jo's passion for creative writing was finally rekindled, and she wrote her first romance novel. Straight afterwards, she put pen to paper to complete the sequel. But with her children in mind, she then turned her hand to middle-grade fiction.

Title 2: The Cruise Club
Genre: Romantic Comedy
Format: Paperbacks
Signed: Dedications are Available
Bids Accepted: Global
Title 1: The Cruise
Three women.
One widowed.
One unmarried.
One almost divorced.
All aged 63, but not ready to give up on life!
Leaving behind the heartache, guilt and disappointment of their real lives, three friends decide that now they’re in their sixties, it’s time they finally did something for themselves!
Swapping Christmas turkeys and BBC reruns for crystal waters, white sandy beaches and smooth golden rum, Anne, Jane and Kath throw caution (and tradition) to the wind as they set sail on a luxury two-week Christmas cruise around the Caribbean.
Will the three friends find the comfort and joy they seek aboard the Diamond Star?
Title 2: The Cruise Club
Because the best adventures are still to come…
Escape to the sun with the #1 bestselling author of The Cruise in a feelgood rom com full of romance, fun and mischief, which will sweep you away to the azure waters of the Mediterranean with every turn of the page…
Set sail on the Diamond Star for sunshine, romance – and just a little bit of mischief…
Cosy crime writer Carmen Cunningham is in trouble. Her inspiration has vanished, her deadline is looming, and her meddling elderly mother Betty consumes her every waking moment.
Hoping to revive her creativity, Carmen books a dream cruise, featuring workshops with her literary idol, Ruskin Reeve. It’s the perfect plan – until Betty insists on tagging along…
However, as the Diamond Star sails through sun-soaked ports and magical Mediterranean islands, Carmen finds the escape she needs as she discovers new friendships, and unexpected sparks with the grumpy, but charming, Ruskin.
But mischief is afoot on board the ship, with talk of items going missing and a secret club that’s got everyone talking… Will the cruise reignite Carmen’s writing muse or plunge her into the biggest plot twist of her life? Because, as she's about to find out, anything can happen at sea…
The Author:
Caroline James is the celebrated author of later-life fiction, including THE CRUISE, the #1 best-seller that has captivated cruise ship passengers worldwide, and her eagerly anticipated follow-up novel, THE CRUISE CLUB, is out now.

Title: Christmas at the French Repair Shop
Genre: Romance
Format: Paperback
Signed: Yes, dedication available
Postage: UK only
The Book:
Christmas in the picturesque village of Willowbrook should be dreamy - twinkling fairylights, snow in the air, and a busy time for Amélie in the repair workshop she owns, restoring furniture and mending treasured objects for locals to give as Christmas gifts. But in the tiny community, Amélie keeps bumping into her ex, Jack - and it's killing her festive feeling.
Jack and Amélie were perfect for each other... until one day they weren't. And when Jack's attempt at reconciliation goes wrong, he finds himself locked in Amélie's van.
Driving to her aunt's house in the South of France, Amélie thinks she's finally going to get some peace over the festive period, but like it or not, she'll now be spending Christmas trapped on holiday with Jack. Could it help unwrap the secret to why they split up? Or will it be a gift they'd rather exchange?
The Author:
Sophie Claire writes uplifting emotional stories with their heart in Provence, where she spent her childhood summers. She is half French, half Scottish, was born in Africa and growing up in England she felt she didn’t belong anywhere – except in the pages of a book. Perhaps this is why she likes to help her characters find their home; a place in the world where they can be loved for themselves. Previously, she worked in marketing and proofreading academic papers, but writing is what she always considered her ‘real job’ and now she’s delighted to spend her days dreaming up heartwarming contemporary romance stories set in beautiful places.

Title: My Friend Billy Whiskers
Genre: Children
Format: Hardback - Picture book
Signed - Dedication is Available
Bids Accepted: Global
The Book;
On a snowy day, while all the other children are playing together, Patrick sits alone. But Patrick isn’t really alone, because he has a friend called Billy Whiskers—a friend only he can see.
Together they ride bikes, climb trees, read stories, and chat about this and that. Billy doesn’t talk much, but he’s a very good listener. He listens when Patrick has worries to share and sometimes, when the worries get too big, they disappear off on magical adventures where anything feels possible. And Patrick returns feeling big and brave . . .
Brave enough that on this special snow day, he has the courage to say hello to the other children . . .
This powerful and sensitive new picture book from David Litchfield captures the magic of imaginary friendship, the power of empathy, and the importance of our friends—real or not—in helping us to navigate the world as we grow.
The Author:
David first started to draw when he was very young, creating Star Wars and Indiana Jones ‘mash up’ comics for his older brother and sister. Since then David’s work has appeared in magazines, newspapers, books and on T-shirts. He has also exhibited his illustrations in both solo and group shows in the U.K, Europe and America.
David’s author/illustrator picture books ‘The Bear & The Piano’ ‘Grandad’s Secret Giant’ ‘The Bear, The Piano, The Dog & The Fiddle’ ‘Lights On Cotton Rock’ and ‘The Bear, The Piano & Little Bear’s Concert’ and ‘Kid Christmas: Of The Claus Brothers Toyshop’ are all out now.
David has also illustrated a number of picture books and novels for authors such as Ross Montgomery, Gregory Maguire, David Almond and Smriti Halls as well as book covers for Kate Dicamillo, Neil Patrick Harris, Chloe Daykin and many more.
David lives with his family in Bedford, England.

Title: Poppy’s Christmas Wishes
Genre: Rom Com
Format: Paperback
Signed: Dedication is Available
Bids Accepted: UK Only
The Book:
For the first time she can remember, Poppy is dreading Christmas. Unceremoniously dumped by her boyfriend after moving across the country for him, there's nothing cheery about the festive season this year.
Dragged to a Christmas ball by best friend Layla, Poppy meets gorgeous actor Gabe, who stars as a genie in a play. When he asks her what three wishes she would make, she realises it's quite simple: love, a job she's happy in and, just once in her life, to do something extraordinary.
Gabe and Poppy make a pact to help each other make their dreams come true. As they tick off their wishes, their friendship blossoms... But, as they discover, sometimes, what you want for Christmas isn't necessarily what you need...
A delicious romance to snuggle up with this festive season from the author of Wedding Bells at the Signal Box Café and The Cosy Little Cupcake Van.
The Author:
Annette Hannah is a Liver Bird who relocated to leafy Hertfordshire in the 80’s and now lives near a river with her husband, two of their three grown up children and a crazy black cocker spaniel. She writes Romantic comedies in settings inspired by the beautiful countryside around her and always with a nod to her hometown.
She worked in Marketing for many years as a qualified Marketeer which she loved as it tapped into her creative side.
As an avid reader, she began to review the books she read, became a book blogger and eventually plucked up the courage to fulfil her life long dream of writing a book.
For four years she was a member of the Romantic Novelists’ Association’s new writers’ scheme, during which time she wrote a book a year.
After signing a two book deal with Orion Dash in 2020 she graduated to full member of the organisation and is also their Press Officer.
She loves long walks along the river, travelling to far flung places and spending time with her friends and family.

Book Title: Dead of Winter
Book Genre: psychological thriller
Format: paperback
Dedication available: Yes
Postage: UK only
Blurb
A sister looking for answers.
A brother with secrets to hide…
Three days before Christmas, I travel to Midwinter Manor in Norfolk through a worsening snowstorm to meet Daniel, the brother I never knew existed. He has reluctantly granted me an hour of his precious time.
The welcome I receive is frosty. Daniel is cold, intimidating and unfriendly, while his wife, Rose, is polite, but tense. From the moment I step through the door of this imposing manor house, I sense I’m not welcome.
When I go to leave, the snowy blizzard prevents me. Then there’s a power cut and I can’t let anyone know where I am. I realise I am trapped.
Something feels wrong in this house. The way Daniel and Rose speak in whispers behind closed doors suggests something’s amiss. As cracks start to form in their stories, I wonder what it is they are hiding.
Midwinter Manor is a house full of secrets, and some of them are dangerously deadly.
The Author:
Keri Beevis is a bestselling psychological thriller author known for her dark and gripping mystery and suspense novels, many of which are set in her home county of Norfolk, England.
With rich character detail and a passion for creating twist-filled plots, Beevis crafts atmospheric stories that have a unique depth and keep readers on the edge of their seats.
She first found success with the huge bestseller, Dying to Tell, which was an instant hit, receiving praise for its complex characters, multiple red herrings, and suspenseful plot.
Her other popular titles include Deep Dark Secrets, The Sleepover, Trust No One, Every Little Breath, and Nowhere to Hide, while The Summer House was a global smash hit, topping the charts in the UK, the US, Canada and Australia.
Keri Beevis writes stories for readers who are fascinated with the darker side of nature. She is a huge Hitchcock fan and his influence is evident in The People Next Door, as well as her most recent release, The House Sitter.

Title:The Christmas Retreat
Genre: Romance
Format: Hardback
Signed: Dedication NOT Available
Postage: Global
Book blurb:
Ginny Spain usually loves Christmas. Not this year, though. After witnessing a traumatic accident and breaking up with her ex, she plans to spend it alone. But her formidable art historian mother, Evie, has other ideas.
Determined to drag her daughter out of isolation, Evie persuades Ginny to spend Christmas with her at an artist and writer’s retreat at Triskelion, a remote old house in the tiny coastal village of Little Star.
But Evie’s plans aren’t without an ulterior motive – having discovered that her grandmother was an artist and spent time at Triskelion house, she wants to unlock the secrets surrounding her and Ginny’s ancestor.
Rugged Rhys Tarn lives at Triskelion with his ten year old daughter, having lost his wife in mysterious and distressing circumstances – and Ginny is in for a shock when she discovers she and Rhys share an unexpected connection.
Between Winter Solstice and Twelfth Night, and with the help of Rhys, can Ginny unlock her past and make this Christmas her happiest one yet?
Author Bio:
Sunday Times Top Ten bestselling novelist Trisha Ashley writes romantic comedies, and her novels have twice been shortlisted for the Melissa Nathan Award for Romantic Comedy, as well as two shortlists and one win (in 2024) of the Romantic Novelists Association Popular Romantic Fiction Award. Every Woman for Herself was also nominated by magazine readers as one of the top three romantic novels of the last fifty years. She is from St Helens in West Lancashire, and believes that her typically dark Lancashire sense of humour in adversity, crossed with a good dose of Celtic creativity from her Welsh grandmother, has made her what she is today... whatever that is. Several of her novels are set in rural West Lancashire, West Yorkshire and Wales. They frequently explore aspects of the three F's that are a constant in her own life: Food, Flowers and Friendship, and include delicious recipes at the back. She is a long-term member of the Society of Authors. Trisha has a Penguin webpage at http://trishaashley.com where you can sign up for her newsletters and find all the latest book news. And on the official fan site at http://trishaworld.com you can find out more about her, check her forthcoming events, or see a complete list of her books.

Can the magic of Christmas and the community of Thorndale bring two lost souls together in love?
Olivia doesn’t have time for Christmas or for romance – she’s got a demanding career and has been burned before when it comes to love. This year, she’s spending the festive season in her dad’s old house, packing it up now that he’s moved out. Her dad failed to mention she wouldn’t be spending her time there alone…
The last thing Olivia expects is for her surprise guest to be the very man who literally ran from her after an evening of mutual flirtation. But Tom has nowhere else to go and Olivia is determined to forget the disappointment she felt at his abandonment and instead help him find his way again.

Title: Christmas at the Home Farm Vets
Genre: Contemporary Humour
Format: Paperback
Signed - Dedication is Available
Bids Accepted: UK Only
The Book;
Ten years ago, Erin had her heart broken by fellow vet student Oli. Now, she’s his landlord.
All Erin wants is independence and security. All Oli does is travel the world after locuming at practices for a few months. So when he comes back into Erin’s life, she knows it’s temporary, no matter the lingering looks he gives her.
With Christmas approaching, the vet practice is busier than ever, and Erin is surprised at how well she and Oli work together to help the animals of Hartfell. From sharing meals in her cramped cottage to meandering the village fayre, the wall Erin has built around her heart begins to crumble.
But Oli’s contract is coming to an end and he’s shown no sign of wanting to stay. Has she set herself up for another heartbreak from the only man she’s ever loved? Or will she realise that being independent sometimes means relying on others, and security comes with taking risks?
The Author:
Suzanne writes contemporary and uplifting fiction with a vibrant sense of setting and community connecting the lives of her characters. A horticulturist who lives with her family in Lancashire, her books are inspired by a love of landscape, romance and rural life. Her debut novel, The Cottage of New Beginnings, was a contender for the RNA’s Joan Hessayon Award and she is currently writing the Hartfell Village series for Canelo. Suzanne is a member of the Romantic Novelists Association and the Society of Authors.

Title: The Secrets of Harbour House
Genre: Historical Fiction/Dual timeline
Format: Paperback
Signed - Dedication is Available
Bids Accepted: UK Only
The Book;
Get swept away to 1930s Paris and Venice, in this achingly romantic dual timeline novel from Liz Fenwick, the author of The Secret Shore…
When Kerensa is sent by her father’s auction house to catalogue a neglected house overlooking the sea in Newlyn, Cornwall, it’s a welcome escape. Once the home of two female artists, Harbour House is a treasure trove, but one painting in particular catches Kerensa’s eye – a hypnotically sensual portrait of a beautiful young woman which dominates the hallway.
Captivated and intrigued, Kerensa finds herself piecing together the enigma of Bathsheba Kernow, a fiercely talented young artist who left St Ives almost a hundred years before, eager to escape a society that wouldn’t understand her, and her sweeping journey from the underbelly of Paris to the heady luxury of Venice, where a chance encounter would change her life forever, drawing her into the most dangerous and forbidden of love affairs.
For Kerensa, still reeling with a grief of her own and facing an uncertain future in love, Harbour House will have secrets that will change her life too, and in ways she could never have imagined…
‘A haunting story of love lost and love found set against an intriguing mystery that will keep you turning the pages. Entrancing!’ – Sam Blake
The Author:
Novelist, slave to two cats and dreamer turned doer....
Award winning author of The Cornish House, A Cornish Affair, A Cornish Stranger, Under A Cornish Sky, The Returning Tide, One Cornish Summer, The Path to the Sea, The River Between Us, The Secret Shore and the novellas A Cornish Christmas Carol and Delivering Christmas. Title: The Matilda Effect
Genre: Children
Format: Paperback
Signed - Dedication is Available
Bids Accepted: UK Only
The Book;
Matilda loves science and inventing. Her heroes are Marie Curie, Leonardo da Vinci and Thomas Edison, and one day she wants to be a famous inventor herself. So when she doesn’t win the school science fair, she’s devastated – especially as the judges didn’t believe she'd come up with her entry on her own. Because she's a girl.
When Matilda shares her woes with her Grandma Joss, she's astonished to learn her grandma was once a scientist herself – an astrophysicist, who discovered her very own planet. Trouble is, Grandma Joss was also overlooked – her boss, Professor Smocks, stole her discovery for himself. And he's about to be presented with a Nobel Prize.
Matilda concocts a plan. They'll crash the award ceremony and tell everyone the truth! So begins a race against time - and against Matilda's strict mum and dad! - on a journey through Paris, Hamburg and Stockholm, and on which they encounter a famous film star, a circus, and a wanted diamond thief...
The Author:
Ellie was born in Bristol, but raised in a hamlet on the outskirts of Southend-on-Sea, by a family of avid readers. So avid, in fact, her mum enrolled her in the local library before she'd even emerged from the womb, which was awkward for all concerned. As a child, Ellie had an unhealthy obsession with 'Murder, She Wrote' and when she was seven, convinced her parents to buy her a Petite Super International typewriter for Christmas, so she could be just like Jessica Fletcher. She has yet to solve any crimes.
After studying a 4 year Broadcasting Degree at the University of Leeds, Ellie realised there were too few home makeover shows in the world, and worked on a number of DIY and Garden programmes for UK Style. Ellie returned to studying and graduated from an MA in Screenwriting course at the London College of Communication in 2008. She lives in North London.

Title 1: The Night Before Christmas
Title 2: The Day After Christmas
Genre: Romantic Comedies
Format: Paperbacks
Signed - Dedication is Available
Bids Accepted: UK Only
Title 1: The Night Before Christmas
Felicity Brooks is a bit of a Scrooge—but when she meets a man dressed as a giant penguin on Christmas Eve, could it spell a change of heart?
The ridiculous music. The excessive presents. The stupid Christmas sweaters. Felicity wants nothing more than to escape it all, and she pounces on the chance to work shifts over the holiday season at an animal rescue center. After all, it's the only place that brings her true happiness.
But one day, her evening is disturbed by a stranger named James—dressed as a penguin and cradling a weak kitten. As Felicity and James work together to nurse the sick feline back to health, it gives them the perfect excuse to bond over their mutual dislike of all things festive. And soon, sparks fly.
However, their attraction is interrupted when Felicity's ex-boyfriend Adam returns to declare his undying love. And when she's let down by both men, Felicity decides to return to her childhood home for some peace. While there, she uncovers an array of family secrets, and even more about herself—which may just help her to make a choice between the penguin and the ex . . .
Title 2: The Day After Christmas
Felicity Brooks always hated Christmas. But after one unforgettable festive season with James the Penguin Man, she's finally learned to embrace twinkling lights, hot chocolate kisses—and the power of starting again.
Now, months later, Felicity's trying to keep it all together. Her dream of motherhood has been shattered. She's somehow ended up planning a wedding for her ex and his chaotic bride-to-be. And then—just to keep things interesting—her estranged father turns up at the animal rescue centre where she works, unannounced, after thirty years away.
As Felicity navigates a whirlwind of animal antics, wedding disasters, family secrets, and one very unexpected donkey, she must decide what she really wants her future to look like. And when James begins acting strangely again, Felicity fears her happy ending may be slipping away—until one snowy Christmas morning reveals the surprise of a lifetime…
The Author:
Nicola is a former journalist and now a chartered public relations professional, one of only 600 with that status in the UK. In her day job she heads up the communications and campaigns department at Redwings, the largest horse welfare charity in the country.
While writing about ponies is a dream come true in its own right, being a novelist has long been the ultimate goal. Since reviving this in earnest in 2021 in snatches of spare time, she has been placed runner up in the Daily Mail First Novel competition, and longlisted both in the Mslexia Novel Prize and with Penguin Michael Joseph. That’s all well and good but Nicola is particularly proud of a sparkly pen which came as a runners up prize for Comedy Women in Print Flash Fiction, run by Helen Lederer!
In 2023 she also published a chapter which formed part of a collection of stories around mental health called ‘Will You Read This Please?’, edited by Dr Joanna Cannon and co-authored with renowned author Jenn Ashworth.
Nicola’s debut novel, The Night Before Christmas, a romantic comedy featuring giant penguins, rescued cats, and an unforgettable heroine, was released in September 2024, and has now been shortlisted for Debut Novel of the Year at the Romantic Novel Awards run by the Romantic Novelists Association.
She lives in Norfolk with her husband, young daughter and three chaotic cats*

Greer - the youngest - walked away from a glittering career to live in London. The mistress of a powerful man, she's left stranded on the day they were to start a new life together. Now she has no choice but to return to the family home - but what kind of welcome can she expect?
And Orla - the middle sister, whose obsessive shell collecting and messages from the 'sea- people' dominate her life. But Orla knows things. She knows Greer is coming home to a new future, that Cassandra's dark secret will change their lives and that their mother never really left at all.
And there's another secret, something they all share... but of course nobody's telling.

Title: A Scrooge Mystery
Genre: Crime / festive crime
Format: Hardback
Dedication available: yes
Postage: UK only
Signed: Yes, dedication is available
Bids Accepted: UK only
The Book:
When everyone's favourite reformed miser, Ebenezer Scrooge, errs from the path of goodness, he starts seeing spirits again - this time of a girl, whose murder he must solve if he is to avoid the dreaded vision of The Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come.
'A COMPLETELY COMPELLING CHRISTMAS READ' Jonathan Whitelaw
'AN ABSOLUTE CHRISTMAS CRACKER' Fiona Leitch
Last Christmas, Ebenezer Scrooge was visited by three festive spirits, and the bleak vision of his future has haunted him ever since. He wants to be a good man, and he never wants to see another ghost as long as he lives.
But changing your ways for a day is easy. Changing your ways for ever is a little trickier. Almost a year on, Scrooge is slipping back into bad habits.
When a lucrative business opportunity comes his way, he jumps at the chance to make some quick money . . . to give to the poor, obviously . . .
But then Scrooge sees her. Another ghost, silent and terrifying. Then Bob Cratchit is arrested for the woman's murder, and Scrooge sees only one way to save both his loyal employee and himself: he must solve this crime.
Scrooge's investigation takes him from the heights of business on the Royal Exchange to the depths of London's criminal underworld alongside the formidable Widow Tassell, boot-boy Jem and Tiny Tim. And as Christmas draws closer, Scrooge begins to realise there's more at stake than his own soul.

The Book:
A Florentine Christmas: Three families. One city of art. A holiday that will change everything.
The cobblestone streets of Florence set the scene for a reunion years in the making. Best friends Evie, Grace and Alex, along with their husbands and a lively brood of children, converge on the enchanting Italian city for what promises to be a magical Christmas getaway.

Book Title: High Hopes for the Bomber Girls
Book Genre: Historical/Saga
Format: Paperback
Dedication available: Yes
Postage: UK Only
The Book:
The war may nearly be over, but danger is ever-present as storms lie ahead…
Even with peace on the horizon, Met WAAF Jenny Hazleton is as busy as ever. Her keen weather forecasting allows the pilots to continue their missions, including food drops to starving allies and the repatriation of prisoners of war.
Navigating many of these missions is Flying Officer Edwin Holland, whose rejection of her advances at Christmas still stings. Edwin is increasingly haunted by his role in the war, including the bombing of Dresden, and Jenny yearns to comfort him. But when he reveals the shocking reason he turned her down, she must decide if their friendship is well and truly over.
After a local young woman is found dead under suspicious circumstances, Jenny and Edwin come together to track down the killer. Can they rebuild their friendship – and can they ever be more than just friends? Or are the scars of war too deep to truly heal?
The Author:
Vicki Beeby is a saga author who writes about the friendships and loves of service women brought together by the Second World War.
Her first job was as a civil engineer on a sewage treatment project, so things could only improve from there. Since then, she has worked as a maths teacher, an education consultant before she turned freelance to give herself more time to write.
She is published by Canelo and represented by Lina Langlee of The North Literary Agency. She was a finalist for the RNA Romantic Saga award in 2021 and won it in 2023.

Book Title: A Blend of Magic
Genre: Paranormal Romance
Format: Paperback
Signed: Yes, dedication available
Bids Accepted: UK only
The Book:
A witch cannot exist on potions and tea alone.
Hiding in the shadows, staunch singleton Willow Anderson is content running her successful business, The Enchanted Emporium. With Christmas days away, she’s eager to exchange selling bespoke tea blends and spells for extended bubble baths and binge-watching festive movies snuggled next to her Maine Coon, Vincent.
Nate never usually runs away from his problems, but drunk and disorientated, he finds himself in a small fisherman’s cottage in the Yorkshire coastal town of Whitby. After discovering his girlfriend’s affair, he is in no rush to return to the City. His wish for time alone in a Christmas-free zone comes true until an uninvited feline guest arrives.
Neither Nate nor Willow want company, especially from each other, but they have little choice when concussion means they must spend at least twenty-four hours together. Sparks fly and not just the romantic kind. When darkness from Willow’s past returns and threatens to destroy all she has worked for, pursuing a love affair is the last thing she needs.
With meddling ghosts and a teenage apprentice with her own matchmaking agenda, love and change are in the air.
But can Willow face her fears, and the past, to capture the happiness she deserves?
The Author:
Kate Kenzie may not be Yorkshire born and bred, but it’s where her heart is and why her fictional worlds are set in the Moors and her favourite haunt, Whitby.
Part-time writer, and full-time dreamer, if she’s not reading from her over flowing TBR pile, she is writing or drinking tea. Like many, she always dreamed of being an author but notebooks of half-finished novels and children’s stories were pushed aside in adulthood until a random Facebook conversation rekindled her passion for world building.

Title: Winter Nights at the Bay Bookshop
Genre: Romance
Format: Paperback
Signed: Dedication is Available
Bids Accepted: UK Only
The Book:
'A gorgeous wintery tale about the kind of love that's meant to be, and the kind of books that leave a heart-shaped stamp on the soul.' #1 bestseller Shari Low ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
It's the most wonderful time of the year at Bay Books, and a new love story is being written in the stars... ✨
Nestled amongst the comforting shelves of her beloved Bay Books, Lily Appleton finds the peace and quiet she needs. But with Christmas just around the corner, Lily has to find an extra pair of hands to help her share the bookish magic.
After selling his business, Lars Jóhannsson is feeling lost. A job at Bay Books would give him the space he needs to contemplate his next move, but returning would mean confronting a painful past he's been avoiding. He’s also fairly sure he’s the one person Lily would never want to see again.
Lily is torn. Lars could be the perfect fit for Bay Books, but he once rejected her friendship and the hurt still lingers. But working together, Lily discovers a vulnerability that Lars has kept hidden away, along with a few surprising secrets. And as the Christmas season sprinkles its magic, Lily discovers the warmth of renewed friendship and the joy of heartwarming traditions from Lars’s Icelandic roots.
Surrounded by the quiet magic of the season and the soft glow of festive lights, perhaps there’s even the possibility of finding a love as enchanting as the Northern Lights on a winter's night.
The Author:
I live in Scarborough on the stunning North Yorkshire Coast in the UK. My home inspired the creation of the fictional seaside town of Whitsborough Bay where I set many of my books. The Hedgehog Hollow series and Bumblebee Barn Collection take readers to a gorgeous countryside setting on the Yorkshire Wolds. In July 2023, I added the lakes and mountains to my settings with the start of my 'Escape to the Lakes' series. I absolutely love this part of the country and am loving writing a series in my happy place.
I live with my husband, our teenage daughter and sprocker spaniel, Ella. I'm a stationery addict with a notepad obsession who loves chocolate (although it doesn't love me), hedgehogs, 80s music, collectible teddy bears and lighthouses.
My career has mainly been in HR as a trainer and recruiter. I had a brief detour into retail to set up and manage my own specialist teddy bear shop and started writing my debut novel on quiet days in the shop.
In June 2020, I became a full-time author. I'm so very grateful to anyone who has bought or borrowed my books in whatever format, helping me fulfil a long-held dream of writing full-time. I still can't believe I get to spend every day chatting to my fictional friends and making stuff up.

But when Charlie opens the door to Seaview Cottage, the two strangers realise that their holiday rental has been double-booked.
They both expected to spend this Christmas alone. But their lives could be changed forever if they agree to spend it together. . .

On Christmas Eve, sweet-natured, obsessively organised hotel manager Bea and over-worked A&E nurse Ollie meet on the flight home to Ireland. They talk, sparks flying, the whole way. But when the plane lands, they wave goodbye, each secretly wondering if they’ll ever meet again.
A few months later, they bump into each other in London. The chance encounter leaves them breathless, til a tiny misunderstanding means that, yet again, they part as strangers. But as the next Christmas draws near, fate, it seems, won’t give up on Bea and Ollie… The only question is, will they listen to what the universe seems telling them?
Christmas Eve was just the beginning. Maybe next Christmas they’ll fall in love?
'I love a romance, and this is one of the best I've read.' The Sun

Confirm your bid
By confirming your bid, you commit to buy this item if you are the winning bidder at the end of the auction and you agree to the terms of this auction.
SIGNED IN AS :
When bidding on an auction item, if you enter more than the minimum increment for an item then your bid will be used for proxy bidding. This is how it works:
1. You enter the absolute maximum that you are willing to bid for an item.
2. jumblebee places a bid on your behalf, using the minimum amount required to make you the highest bidder, i.e. current bid price plus bid increment OR the reserve price, if there is one and it can be covered by your proxy bid.
3. jumblebee continues to bid on your behalf, whenever you are outbid by another member's bid, until your maximum bid is exceeded or the auction is won.
4. jumblebee will notify you by email if your maximum bid is outbid by another member and provided the auction is still running, you will then have a chance to enter a new maximum bid if you wish.
For example:
The current bid on an auction item is £100. The minimum increment is £10. You enter a bid of £150 (your maximum bid).
Using your bid, but increasing only by the minimum increment, jumblebee sets the current bid to £110.
Another person bids £130 but they are immediately outbid by jumblebee bidding on your behalf and the current bid goes up to £140.
The auction finishes and you have won the auction item at a price of £140.
