An end of row cottage that has been furnished and equipped to a very comfortable standard, creating a welcoming home-from-home for a large family or group of friends.
Sleeping 8 guests in 4 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms, Slipway 12 has accommodation set over three floors and has been thoughtfully designed to enable the first floor living area to take full advantage of the stunning views of the Camel estuary. This limited edition silver portrait pendant was made in memory of Satao of Tsavo, who was possibly the largest ‘big tusker’ elephant remaining in Africa and tragically was poached for his ivory on May 30th 2014. There are only estimated to be around 12 big tuskers remaining in Tsavo. The work, sold as a necklace and brooch, has raised significant funds for elephant conservation in Kenya.
The work was made by award winning Sculptor, Camilla Le May, known for her life size statue of the horse Sefton. The solid silver is individually hand finished by Camilla, stamped with the artist’s registered stamp CLM and numbered 53 in a limited edition of 250, cast by Just Castings in Hatton Garden, London, who have a Royal warrant and hallmarked by The Goldsmiths' Company, London.
The necklace is 18” long and has a 2.5” silver extension chain weighted with a silver acorn (not in the photo) so that you can vary the length. For an additional fee a tiny
diamond, sapphire or tanzanite can be set in the eye.

A 6 session course on the History of London taught by historian Dr Matthew Green for the 2026 Course (The 2026 course will run over 6 weeks – exact dates to be confirmed)
Learn how London cracked out of its medieval shell, sprawled into the suburbs, and blossomed into the biggest metropolis on the face of the earth on this groundbreaking, six-part evening salon led by a world expert in a beautiful Gothic Revival church in Pimlico.
Red and White wine provided!
• Historian and broadcaster Dr Matthew Green has a PhD from Oxford University in the history of London and is the author of the acclaimed London: A Travel Guide Through Time(Penguin), which the Londonist has described as ‘easily the most engaging social history of London for a decade’.
Join Dr Matthew Green on an immersive whirlwind tour through 2,000 years of London’s history from the Middle Ages to the present day, visiting emblematic sites from Shakespearean bear pits to Georgian chocolate houses, Victorian music halls to Brutalist high-rise estates, and meeting an extraordinary cast of characters along the way, from Chaucer to the Elephant Man, Samuel Pepys to Mary Quant.
Unlike traditional lectures on London’s history, we will eschew dry lectures on civic administration and tired stories of Whitehall intrigues in favour of the theatre of everyday life, as explored through the places and spaces in which Londoners lived, worked, played, dreamed and died.
Using a carousel of maps, vivid antique projections, and contemporary photographs, each two-hour session will take the form of a tour through London at a key point in its historical development, giving you privileged insight into the social, cultural and economic history of the time. Accessible to both novices and those well-versed in London’s history, the course will bring the city’s history to life in an unforgettable way, furnish you with novel perspectives upon London today, and tell you exactly where to find its hidden treasures.
During the sessions, you are actively encouraged to interrupt as much as you like and participate in lively group discussions. You’ll have the opportunity to meet and befriend fellow London enthusiasts especially during each sessions wine break!

When bidding on an auction item, if you enter more than the minimum increment for an item then your bid will be used for proxy bidding. This is how it works:
1. You enter the absolute maximum that you are willing to bid for an item.
2. jumblebee places a bid on your behalf, using the minimum amount required to make you the highest bidder, i.e. current bid price plus bid increment OR the reserve price, if there is one and it can be covered by your proxy bid.
3. jumblebee continues to bid on your behalf, whenever you are outbid by another member's bid, until your maximum bid is exceeded or the auction is won.
4. jumblebee will notify you by email if your maximum bid is outbid by another member and provided the auction is still running, you will then have a chance to enter a new maximum bid if you wish.
For example:
The current bid on an auction item is £100. The minimum increment is £10. You enter a bid of £150 (your maximum bid).
Using your bid, but increasing only by the minimum increment, jumblebee sets the current bid to £110.
Another person bids £130 but they are immediately outbid by jumblebee bidding on your behalf and the current bid goes up to £140.
The auction finishes and you have won the auction item at a price of £140.
