Every Animal Deserves a Second Chance. Sometimes, all it takes is one act of kindness to change a life forever.
ARA is a legally constituted Portuguese Charity Association with the prime objective of caring for and subsequently rehoming stray, abandoned and distressed dogs and cats. The charity was founded in 2017 by a resident English businessman who funded the total capital cost of the project and has also financed running costs since its inception. The governing body of the Association comprises twelve individuals who are all volunteers. Especially important to ARA is not just the betterment of animal welfare locally but eventually throughout Portugal.

Signed by Sir Geoff Hurst - Only World Cup Final Hat-Trick Winner in History
On 30th July 1966 at Wembley Stadium, Sir Geoff Hurst wrote himself into football history. Scoring three goals in the World Cup Final against West Germany, he became — and remains — the only player ever to score a hat-trick in a men’s World Cup Final and lift the trophy. Kylian Mbappé also scored a hat-trick in the 2022 Final, but France were defeated on penalties.
This stunning vintage-style Slazenger 1966 commemorative ball has been personally signed by Sir Geoff Hurst and is beautifully presented within a premium clear acrylic display case.
The ball features detail referencing:
- 30th July 1966
- Wembley Stadium
- England 4 West Germany 2
- Sir Geoff’s signature is boldly displayed alongside the iconic 1966 marking, making this a striking centrepiece item for any serious collector.
This is not simply a signed football. It is a tribute to one of the most iconic nights in English sporting history — and to the hat-trick hero Sir Geoff Hurst. A timeless piece of football heritage.

When bidding on an auction item, if you enter more than the minimum increment for an item then your bid will be used for proxy bidding. This is how it works:
1. You enter the absolute maximum that you are willing to bid for an item.
2. jumblebee places a bid on your behalf, using the minimum amount required to make you the highest bidder, i.e. current bid price plus bid increment OR the reserve price, if there is one and it can be covered by your proxy bid.
3. jumblebee continues to bid on your behalf, whenever you are outbid by another member's bid, until your maximum bid is exceeded or the auction is won.
4. jumblebee will notify you by email if your maximum bid is outbid by another member and provided the auction is still running, you will then have a chance to enter a new maximum bid if you wish.
For example:
The current bid on an auction item is £100. The minimum increment is £10. You enter a bid of £150 (your maximum bid).
Using your bid, but increasing only by the minimum increment, jumblebee sets the current bid to £110.
Another person bids £130 but they are immediately outbid by jumblebee bidding on your behalf and the current bid goes up to £140.
The auction finishes and you have won the auction item at a price of £140.
