The SMF proudly presents the inaugural Sanjay Mortimer RepRap Festival (SMRRF), a spectacular event taking place on 2nd and 3rd, December 2023, at the breathtaking Oxford University Examination Halls. Anticipated as the UK's premier 3D printing event of the year, SMRRF promises to draw enthusiasts and industry leaders from around the globe.
This event is open to all, serving as the
ultimate platform to witness cutting-edge technology from your favourite 3D
printing companies and discover groundbreaking innovations by hobbyists that
are poised to impact the industry. We have a fabulous lineup of VIP speakers,
including none other than the RepRap movement's founder, Adrian Bowyer
MBE.
Our supporters and sponsors continue their

held in the afternoon of Saturday, December 2nd at approximately 15:30 GMT. We are thrilled to once again

will be live-streamed on E3D's YouTube channel (stay tuned for details),

This Cupcake was from one of the earliest batches from the newly formed Makerbot, Brooklyn c.2009. It was provided to Dr. Adrian Bowyer for his early support of the company. The kit was constructed in the University of Bath labs (birthplace of RepRap), by Rhys Jones and others. Then passed to Dr. Andrew Dent, it was pivotal in the formation of Faberdashery (the UK’s first PLA filament company). The machine features some of the earliest examples of self-made upgrades and various hacks of the period. Signed by Adrian for authenticity.

Automated active self-watering orchid system in Sanjay Blue!
This system is perfect for if you go away or generally, if you are too busy or forget to water your Orchids :)
Orchid is placed in the top half, the bottom is filled up with water. A lid separates the two parts. At set day intervals, the water is pumped up and soaks the orchid for 2 minutes before draining back down.
The system is powered by a single 9V battery that provides over 2 years of service on a single charge and is easily replaceable.
The medium variation of the automatic orchid watering pot.

Orchid is placed in the top half, the bottom is filled up with water. A lid separates the two parts. At set day intervals, the water is pumped up and soaks the orchid for 2 minutes before draining back down.

Another person bids £130 but they are immediately outbid by jumblebee bidding on your behalf and the current bid goes up to £140.
The auction finishes and you have won the auction item at a price of £140.
1. You enter the absolute maximum that you are willing to bid for an item.
2. jumblebee places a bid on your behalf, using the minimum amount required to make you the highest bidder, i.e. current bid price plus bid increment OR the reserve price, if there is one and it can be covered by your proxy bid.
3. jumblebee continues to bid on your behalf, whenever you are outbid by another member's bid, until your maximum bid is exceeded or the auction is won.
4. jumblebee will notify you by email if your maximum bid is outbid by another member and provided the auction is still running, you will then have a chance to enter a new maximum bid if you wish.
For example:
The current bid on an auction item is £100. The minimum increment is £10. You enter a bid of £150 (your maximum bid).
