Gaza Formula Fund
Gaza's babies and children are malnourished, being starved and forced to live without other basic supplies like formula, nappies, clean water and medication. This grass roots campaign was started in July 2025 by a theatre designer and mother in London (Georgia) and a father in Gaza (Izz) and is against all odds sourcing and distributing formula milk, nappies and other crucial supplies to families with babies and small children within Gaza.
We have sourced and distributed over 2000 tins of formula milk and packs of nappies to a mixture of tent camps, hospitals and individual families who are in desperate need of help. It is dangerous and often time consuming work to find the formula and nappies and prices are extremely high and unaffordable for most people.
So far we have raised almost £300,000 of donations which has been used in its entirety to source and distribute this vital aid to a mixture of tent camps, hospitals and individual families who are in desperate need of help.
We are getting these supplies from within Gaza and directly to as many babies and children that urgently need them as we can.
In an unprecedented show of solidarity, more than 100 of the UK's most celebrated theatre designers are donating original artwork, sketches, and model pieces to raise vital funds for babies and children in Gaza.
Stage designers Georgia Lowe and Miriam Buether have brought together an extraordinary collection of signed work from leading designers including Bunny Christie, Tom Scutt, Kinnetia Isadore, Tom Pye, Ben Stones, Rosanna Vize, Ralph Koltai, Tim Hatley, Ian Macneil, and Soutra Gilmour among many others. The online auction will feature original drawings, costume designs, models, and prints from acclaimed productions including SIX, Guys and Dolls (The Bridge), Operation Mincemeat, Prima Facie, and Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
All proceeds will go directly to the Gaza Formula Fund, a grassroots charity established by Lowe and her Gaza-based charity partner Izziddeen in July 2024 to provide formula milk, nappies, and essential supplies to families with young children affected by the humanitarian crisis.
We are thrilled to bring together this exciting collection of one-off pieces and we hope you enjoy bidding!

Digital costume drawing of Caliban for the Royal Shakespeare Company’s 'First Encounters with Shakespeare: The Tempest' (2025). Directed by Aaron Parsons the show toured venues and schools in the north of the UK, made for young audiences to be introduced to the work of Shakespeare. Parsons highlighted the colonial narrative making colour conscious casting Ariel and Caliban being global majority actors and Prospero being cast as a British Caucasian. They strayed away from portraying Caliban a monster, but instead showing his humanity so that he could free himself from the chain over his chest at the end. The chains left stains on him highlighting the lingering effects of colonialism on oppressed peoples.

This unreleased costume drawing by Debbie Duru for Husz for ‘A Bright room called Day’.
‘A Bright room called Day’ is about a group of friends in 1930s Germany that grapple with the rise of facism that is happening around them. Despite their identity as artists and activists their own politics begins to be tested as the reality of the situation begins to fracture their microcosm and ultimately their personal beliefs.

A sketch from ‘Life and Trust’, a large-scale immersive theater production that ran in New York from 2024-25. The drawing represents an early concept for the Alexandria Club, a secret society for architects exploring ideal Euclidean geometric forms in both ancient and modern contexts. Inspired by ancient Egyptian temples, the skyscrapers of Gilded Age New York, and Barnett Newman’s Broken Obelisk, this space is the inner sanctum of the club where its most esoteric & occult practices take place.
Grace Laubacher is a scenic designer based in New York City, working in theater, film, & immersive performance. Recent work includes Titanique and Oklahoma! in the West End; Life and Trust (New York City), Caught Stealing (Columbia Pictures); and associate set design for Waiting for Godot and Merrily We Roll Along on Broadway. She is a graduate of Central Saint Martins.

The production was directed by Deborah Warner, the costume designer was Cloe Obolensky and the lighting by Jean Kalman.
Hildegard Bechtler was born in Stuttgart, trained at Camberwell and Central St. Martin’s Schools, lives in London and works internationally in theatre, ballet and opera.
Hildegard won an Olivier Award for her design of After the Dance at the National Theatre and received nominations for Top Hat and Oresteia. Costume drawing for the costumes of the fictional band, Co-codamol, from Chris Bush's 2022 play Rock/Paper/Scissors. Drawn on an ipad. The print is signed by the writer, Chris Bush and designer Janet Bird.
In celebration of Sheffield Crucibles 50th year, Rock/Paper/Scissors was an ambitious triptych of plays performed by one cast in 3 different theatres simultaneously. Set in various locations around a failing Sheffield scissor factory; the project required 3 designers (Ben Stones for the Crucible, Janet Bird for the Lyceum and Natasha Jenkins for the Playhouse) and 3 directors (Anthony Lau, Rob Hastie and Elin Schofield). Whilst the designers produced 3 individual sets, the costume scheme had to divided into 3. Mindless girl band, Co-codamol, were played by Daisy Mae and Chanel Waddock. Additional photo shows Daisy and Chanel dashing mid show between venues.

This is an early concept costume sketch for the Chester Mystery Cycle of 2023. Working with a diverse cast and crew of 200 community volunteers to create costumes for everyone from Angels to the sea. They were made from donated duvets, sheets and curtains, transformed through shared craft skills in weekly workshops. The performance took place in Chester Cathedral in Traverse, a nod to its roots in street theatre. This costume evolved into coats made out of blue denim scraps, worn by a sea of women carrying Noah's ark through the church.
Since training at the Motley Theatre Design course Jess has designed set and costumes for theatres nationally and internationally. Working across theatre, opera and dance. She has contributed to the Theatre Green Book, strives to work sustainably and teaches at the London College of Fashion.

Gucci 1540' is a digital collage part of an ongoing series of artworks that Worrall began in lockdown and have continued making ever since. The works juxtapose portraits of women from art with images of modern day couture as a way of questioning the external forces that exist within both art and fashion which shape and enforce our understanding of the ideals around women’s status in society.
They are definitely related to her theatre work in that jer style has always been a bit anachronistic; finding those connections across history and time in a way to hopefully both make it relevant to a modern audience but also ask the question of what has changed and why (or why not!)

A 1:25 Model of the fireplace in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for Children on Hackney Road. East London. Made by Kat Heath at university in 2007. The building was demolished in 2014.
Kat’s final project at university “I Love You So Much I Could Burst Into Flames', was a speculative project for the whole building based on the plays and children's books of Philip Ridley. A flash of charm for the lonely security guard would get you into the dingy basement and from there you could explore the magnificent staircases and grand open wards with the family of foxes who lived there. The Hospital was founded in the wake of a cholera epidemic in 1866 by two Quaker sisters, Ellen and Mary Phillips. Her obsession with the grand derelict Hackney Children's Hospital marked the beginning of my love for site-specific and immersive theatre, the walls dripped with stories of care, heartbreak, healing and joy.
Kat Heath is a set and costume designer working across theatre, opera, immersive and dance. Kat trained in Design for Performance at Wimbledon School of Art and Central Saint Martins, London.
1:25 Model in 75mm x 75mm. Mount Board,Foam board, Miliput, Acrylic Paint.

Hand drawn costume design of Bertha Mason for ‘Jane Eyre’ (2015) played by Melanie Marshall and designed by Katie Sykes.
“Jane Eyre, originally devised at the Bristol Old Vic was then reimagined for the National Theatre in 2015. Excitingly, this dress was then made by the brilliant NT costume department and consequently included many beautiful new details. We wanted Bertha to look glorious - a woman with strength and dignity - not the typical madwoman in the attic image. Melanie sang her entire role and the production includes her amazing rendition of Gnarls Barkley’s Crazy .” - Katie Sykes, designer
Sykes is a costume designer most known for National Theatre Live: Jane Eyre (2015), Wonderboy: Bristol Old Vic (2023) and Make-Up: A Glamorous History (2021).

In Arthur Miller's "All My Sons," Bert is an eight-year-old neighbourhood boy who plays a significant game of pretend "jail" with Joe Keller, foreshadowing Joe's hidden guilt and Kate's [his wife] desperate denial of it. Bert appears briefly in the play, but his role as an innocent child highlighting the corrupted adult world, especially Joe's authority and the metaphorical basement jail, makes him a key symbolic character.
This is a Limited edition digital print on paper of this drawing for ‘All My Sons’ (2019) at the Old Vic, London.

A collection of production photos and a costume drawing for the costumes of the chorus in the oratorio ‘Die Schöpfung” (The Creation) by Joseph Haydn at the opera Cologne in 2024. The oratorio depicts and celebrates the creation of the world as narrated in the Book of Genesis.
The chorus represents God’s civil servants, the ‘voices of God’ that relay his messages to humanity in a glorifying way. The masks make reference to the depiction of halos in classic works of art. Moreover they cover the face and only leave the mouth on show, the mouthpiece of god.
Production photos by Sandra Then.
All A4 on paper and photographic paper.

“This work is part of a series created in parallel to my role as Set Designer on The Gate Theatre Dublin’s 2023 production of Peter Pan. These pieces explore the raw, anarchic energy of children’s drawing - scribbles, marks, and imagined forms were a way of echoing the restless imagination and primal expression of the Lost Boys. In the production, these drawings were embedded throughout the world of Neverland - inscribed surfaces with the unruly tags of the Lost Boys. They exist as artefacts suggestive of the emergence of a parallel culture - an imagined social structure, self-made order within Neverland that resists the hierarchies of the mortal world.” - Niall McKeever, Visual Artist
Niall is an Irish scenographer and visual artist based in London, working across performance, film, painting and collage. He recently made his West End debut as Associate Set Designer for Waiting for Godot at Theatre Royal Haymarket. Early concept art for the ballet ‘Averno’, created for Stuttgart Ballet in 2023 by Sami Fendall. Inspired by the Greek myth of Hades and Persephone, it tells the story of Hades, god of the underworld, who abducts Persephone, goddess of vegetation, to be his queen. The ballet centers on Demeter, Persephone’s mother, and the profound grief of losing a daughter. Their retelling unfolds in the surreal setting of an abstracted petrol station. In the original myth, Demeter’s sorrow brings famine and darkness, symbolizing winter, while Persephone’s return brings renewal and light, and spring, marking the cycle of the seasons.
Sami Fendall is a production designer creating work for stage, screen, and live performance internationally.

1:25 scale billboard made for KENREX at Sheffield Theatres. Green floor piece separate so could be displayed multiple ways.
KENREX is a critically acclaimed new production, telling the story of Ken Rex McElroy, a small-town tyrant whose decade-long reign of terror goes unchecked. The design for KENREX places the action in an undefined location; a space with echoes of sound studio, film set and rehearsal room, with flavours of Americana threaded through. Set centre stage, the billboard housed some of the show's most poignant moments, alongside projected cinematic titles and imagery.

Signed digital costume design drawing for the character MarieLouise from the 2025 Royal Shakespeare Company’s production of ‘The Constant Wife’ (2025) directed by Tamara Harvey. Co-costume designers: Cat Fuller & Anna Fleischle.
Laura Wade’s adaptation of ‘The Constant Wife’ is about strong female characters and deals with the complexity of carving out a new identity for the 20th century woman, challenging traditional expectations for gender roles and marriage. The costumes explored the visual languages and art movements that aligned with the increasing autonomy of women - expressionism, art deco and cubism, to name a few. We took inspiration from the 20s trends of sportswear being worn as informal daywear, trompe l’oeil knitwear and the use of stylised graphic prints.
It was nominated for a UK Theatre Award for “Best Play Revival” in 2025.
Cat Fuller is a Set and Costume Designer in theatre and performance. She graduated with an MA in Performance Design from Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, and was a recipient of The 2021 Linbury Prize.

Signed costume design digital drawing for the character Constance in Act 1 Scene 2 from the 2025 Royal Shakespeare Company’s production of ‘The Constant Wife’ (2025) directed by Tamara Harvey.
Anna Fleischle is a multi-award winning stage and costume designer based in London. She has worked internationally in theatre, opera and dance.

Taken in Tirana in 2000/ printed at E5 darkroom in London in 2012. This image was taken while Miriam was working for War Child Netherlands on a creative arts psychosocial project with children displaced from Kosovo in 2000. One of the games they would play was finding spaces in the camp to perform scenes and stories to pass the time.this curtain intrigued us. Is this a newly washed blanket or an impromptu theatre? What magical stories are about to be told?

This is a small test proof liquid emulsion unique print on japanese kozo paper. It comes from the series Do Not Forget, Remember and Warn a series of 10 images taken of the reconstruction of the National University Library in Sarajevo, BIH. The destruction of the library in 1992 was widely seen as an act of cultural genocide, erasing centuries of irreplaceable manuscripts that showed the rich, multi cultural history of Bosnia, and of Sarajevo as a cultural and intellectual hub. Following its destruction, the cellist verdant Smailovic played daily in the ruins of the library as an act of resistance and remembrance. Miriam blagged entrance to the library and was given 15 minutes, enough to shoot a single film on her hasselblad. Each print is unique and hand printed with liquid emulsion. She like the resonance of time. Destroyed in 1002. Shot in 2012, printed in 2022.

A psychological contemporary reinterpretation of Alice in Wonderland, focusing on Alice's complete psychological breakdown within a hospital setting. The familiar journey into Wonderland is recast as a terrifying hallucination, where her doctors, nurses, and carers are transformed into distorted, menacing Wonderland characters. The Doctors is hallucinated by Alice as the Mad hatter, the white Rabbit as the nurse and Dormouse a sedated patient in the Mad hater endless medicated tea party. This concept serves as the foundation for the Linbury Prize 2021 finalist exhibition design.
The collections from reimagined Alice in Wonderland were part of the 2021 Linbury exhibition.

When bidding on an auction item, if you enter more than the minimum increment for an item then your bid will be used for proxy bidding. This is how it works:
1. You enter the absolute maximum that you are willing to bid for an item.
2. jumblebee places a bid on your behalf, using the minimum amount required to make you the highest bidder, i.e. current bid price plus bid increment OR the reserve price, if there is one and it can be covered by your proxy bid.
3. jumblebee continues to bid on your behalf, whenever you are outbid by another
member's bid, until your maximum bid is exceeded or the auction is won.
4. jumblebee will notify you by email if your maximum bid is outbid by another member and provided the auction is still running, you will then have a chance to enter a new
maximum bid if you wish.
For example:
The current bid on an auction item is £100. The minimum increment is £10. You enter a bid of £150 (your maximum bid).
Using your bid, but increasing only by the minimum increment, jumblebee sets the current bid to £110.
Another person bids £130 but they are immediately outbid by jumblebee bidding on your behalf and the current bid goes up to £140.
The auction finishes and you have won the auction item at a price of £140.
