For bigger events, such as a Ball or Gala Dinner, live silent auctions provide a fun and engaging way for guests to bid for auction prizes.  With our iPad mini bidding tablets, guests can register, view and bid for items without having to leave their tables, and watch the totals increase on leaderboard screens around the room.

Live silent auctions create a competitive and fun atmosphere, helping to increase amounts bid.  Screens can be tailored to your look and feel, sponsor and charity banners can be displayed.  We create our own closed network for your event so it can be set up anywhere – even in a field!

On the night

We will provide as many tablets as are required to service the event, normally 2 per table of 10-12.
We use iPad mini tablets as standard.
TV leaderboard screens to view.
Event management team to oversee the event personally and assist with any queries, registrations and bids if required. We are personally very committed to ensuring the smooth running of our events.
Immediate printing of invoices and bid reports when the auction closes
Assistance with payment collection if required.
Detailed post auction reporting showing highest bidders, amounts bid, contact details and bid histories for each item.

Before the event
Simple set up of auction items via our online auction page, with full support from jumblebee (no spreadsheets to fill in!). OR jumblebee can set up your page for you if you prefer
Free access to run the auction online in advance of your event, with the facility to invite those who can’t attend to enter proxy bids
Seamless transfer from online auction to live event auction
Access to a range of lot items should you require to ‘top up’ your auction lots
Pre-registration of guests if required
Proxy bidding for those bidders who cannot attend the event to place a ‘maximum’ bid online in advance so that the system can bid for them during the event

jumblebee will provide a senior member of the team to look after your account. We will provide a personalised and tailored service to make sure you get the best out of your events.

You will have access to the jumblebee support team online who will provide support for all your activities.

At live events, a minimum of one technician and one senior jumblebee team member will be present to support the event. Normally more event staff are provided to assist in registering guests, bidding, and answering any queries.

A team of online technicians is on hand also to support the online auctions in the event of any issues.

Auction Lots, The System & Pricing

We can provide assistance with sourcing lots if required.  These do come at a supply price, and we always recommend that you source as many direct as you can, if not all.  If you wish to explore this we can send lists of suggestions from our inventory depending on your interests and budget.The look and feel of jumblebee’s auctions is fresh, fun and user friendly. People who have used the system have found it very engaging, and we have received many great comments both on our live and online auctions.

Setting up an auction is easy. Even if you are not running the auction online before an event you would still set it up in advance of the event online. That way you can get a feel for the look of the auction before the live event. there are no spreadsheet templates to populate.

jumblebee aims to help raise funds for good causes at the lowest cost. Every effort is made to keep our cost base low so that the highest % of funds raised go to the good cause.

We price our auctions in two ways, either a fixed price or a lower fixed price plus a small % of winning bids. Our prices are not dependent on taking a number of externally sourced auction lots with a supply price.

The business partners set up jumblebee with the aim of helping good causes raise funds. They are actively involved in the business and will make every effort to attend and support your event personally. They will advise on every aspect of your auction to enable you to get the best return for your event.
